FAQ

What are CBD hemp flowers?

Hemp is a variety of cannabis that is grown for industrial purposes. By law, hemp must have less than 0.3% THC in the U.S. and less than 0.2% in Europe. Because of its low levels of THC, hemp will not get you ‘high’.

As the demand for CBD products has exploded over the last two years, hemp farmers have been attempting to grow plants that comply with the regulations on THC content, while boosting the unregulated CBD content. This has resulted in 100% legal hemp flowers that look, smell and taste a lot like regular high-THC cannabis. Needless to say, these CBD-rich hemp buds are becoming extremely popular in the U.S. and Europe.

What are the medical benefits of CBD flowers?

MEDICINAL VALUE OF HIGH CBD FLOWER. High CBD and low THC flower can alleviate chronic pain, inflammation, seizures, and anxiety. Specifically, CBD flower can help reduce symptoms associated with multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, arthritis pain, Dravet’s Syndrome, and some anxiety disorders. When smoked or vaped, CBD flower can deliver immediate effects for acute symptoms. Since consuming CBD flower requires inhalation, it may not be the best consumption method for people with respiratory problems, children or the elderly

Does CBD Get You High?

No! CBD is 100% non-psychoactive, meaning it doesn’t negatively impact your mind or mental process. In other words, CBD does not get you 'high' or stoned. There is no mental slowness or haziness caused by CBD – seriously, none.

You might be wondering how this is possible. It’s because your association of cannabis is to the marijuana plants bread for high THC content – the specific cannabinoid that gets you high. However, cannabis contains many other cannabinoids – most of which do not get you high, like CBD. Some cannabis plants are bred for high CBD content exclusively – these plants are known as ‘hemp’ – and only contain trace amounts of THC (below 0.3% to be exact). The combination of high-CBD with extremely low amounts of THC is what makes the products derived from hemp plants non-psychoactive.

To reiterate, the cannabis plant contains multiple cannabinoids, however, only THC provides the traditional high associated with cannabis. CBD, the second most prevalent cannabinoid, is non-psychoactive and doesn’t induce any ‘high’.

Can I make tea with CBD flowers?

Preparation of hemp tea is very similar to any other tea. Take 1 teaspoon of dry hemp leaves per cup and pour hot water over it. Let it steep (soak in water) between 2 and 7 minutes, depending on how strong you want the tea.
Hemp tea has a very pleasant taste, like a herbal tea but as with any other tea, you can modify it to taste by sweetening it, adding milk a squeeze of lemon or honey (our favourite) .Like other cannabinoids, CBD extracts from the plant and binds to fats during any heating process. To get the best effect the tea should be brewed for several minutes with some type of fat like milk, cream, or coconut oil. Without fat included in brewing, users will only get the benefits of antioxidants, fatty acids and the tea’s sweet, subtle flavour rather than active cannabinoids

What is the best way to use CBD hemp flowers?

Vaporizing CBD hemp flowers
Vaporizing, or vaping, is an effective method for consuming cannabinoids, including CBD from hemp buds. As no combustion is involved – unlike smoking – vaping hemp flowers is generally considered much safer.

As the vaporized CBD – as well as other cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids – is absorbed directly into the bloodstream via the lungs, it reaches the brain almost immediately, with effects noticeable after about one minute. This means that vaporizing hemp flowers can offer quick and effective relief from pain or other uncomfortable conditions.

Smoking CBD hemp flowers
As smoking hemp buds involves combustion, it is considered less healthy than vaping or eating. However, it is still an effective way of administering CBD as, just like with vaping, absorption is quick and efficient.

Many people like to smoke hemp flowers as a way to help quit cigarettes, to offer some counterbalance to high-THC cannabis, and for general relaxation purposes. Hemp flowers can be smoked in a joint (cigarette-like roll-up) or in a bong or water pipe.

Cooking with CBD hemp flowers/extraction
Dried, raw hemp flowers can make a great cooking ingredient and can be added to a variety of recipes. Many people also like to make their own oil-based CBD extractions using hemp flowers, before using that extraction in their cooking or baking.

What is the difference between the full spectrum and isolate CBD Oil?

Typically when choosing a CBD products you’ll have to choose between a ‘Full Spectrum’ and an ‘Isolate’.

Full Spectrum refers to CBD Oil that has been distilled from the entire hemp plant whilst isolates refers to pure isolated cannabidiol with all the plant material removed.

When you select a full spectrum CBD oil, you will not only benefit from CBD, you’ll also benefit from dozens of potentially beneficial cannabinods, as well as cannabis terpenes and flavonoids;

What is broad spectrum?

Its name may be a little confusing, as it sounds very similar to full spectrum, but it’s different in a few key ways. Broad spectrum CBD is CBD that has been extracted from the cannabis plant with all of the other compounds from the plant except for THC. That means it contains terpenes, essential oils, and other cannabinoids from the plant. This should not result in intoxicating effects.

It offers all the entourage benefits associated with full-spectrum CBD, without any chances of THC being ingested into the body.

Broad-spectrum CBD is an excellent choice for individuals that can’t have any traces of THC is their system, whether for legal purposes, passing a drug test, or anything else.

Why do some flowers cbd percentage vary

Hemp is a natural plant. CBD rates may vary from head to head. There is certainly CBD, but there are also many important cannabinoids that are not always evaluated.

We regularly test our varieties to ensure that the THC threshold is not exceeded.

It happens that the tests show a cdb rate lower than that we could measure before. It also happens that the tests show higher rates than we were able to measure before.

In summary, we must legally propose the latest tests, so we can always send the latest tests available. Even if the value is lower than what was measured as maximum in the past. It doesn't mean that you have another hemp.
